Terms of use

These terms are an agreement between you and Interview Yoda Private Limited, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, which operates PhysicsRank (“we”, “us”), and govern PhysicsRank’s lessons, practice and account services. PhysicsRank is an independent physics learning service. By using the site, creating an account or buying membership you accept these terms. Questions and legal notices go to [email protected].

Learning and accounts

You may read the open material without an account. Accounts use Google sign-in only. Account holders must be at least 18, sign in with a Google account they control and keep it secure. Parents and guardians may manage their own adult account for study. Do not share account access, impersonate someone or submit a child’s personal information. Learners under 18 may use the open material without an account; a parent or guardian who wants membership for them buys it through the parent’s own adult account and accepts these terms. An account and its membership are for one person; you are responsible for activity under your account.

Membership

The current price is shown on the pricing page, and the price shown and confirmed at checkout applies to that purchase. There is no automatic renewal. Membership lasts 12 calendar months from confirmed payment, or extends an active membership by 12 months from its existing expiry. February 29 anniversaries use February 28 in non-leap years. The dashboard shows the expiry date. Membership opens the premium material: full problem solutions, hints and answer checks, worked-example working, interactive labs and guided practice paths. Chapter explanations and the problems and chapters marked as free samples stay open without membership. Membership gives access to the library as it stands during your term; we may add, revise or remove material and features.

Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record and seller of record for membership purchases and issues the receipt. Prices include applicable taxes, which Dodo Payments collects and remits as merchant of record. Payment is confirmed by the server with Dodo Payments; a browser success message alone does not activate membership. Supported methods are those actually offered at checkout. Where checkout shows a price in another currency, Dodo Payments sets the conversion; bank charges, if any, are determined by your bank. Dodo Payments’ buyer terms also apply to the payment, and decide payment, tax and refund questions about that transaction. We never receive your card, CVV or UPI details. See the refund policy.

Cancellation and refunds

Membership is digital content that opens as soon as payment is confirmed. By paying you ask for that immediate access and acknowledge that, where the law allows, you then lose any statutory right to withdraw from or cancel the purchase. Sales are therefore final, except where the law of your country requires a refund or Dodo Payments grants one under its buyer terms; the refund policy explains how to raise a billing problem. Nothing here limits consumer rights that cannot be excluded by contract. A refunded, reversed or disputed payment ends the membership it paid for.

Use of material

Membership is a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence for one person to use the material for their own study. Do not republish, share or sell the site’s authored explanations, diagrams, solutions or question collections; scrape, bulk-download or access the site with bots or other automated tools; use the material to train or evaluate an AI model or to build a competing product or dataset; bypass access controls; or disrupt the service. Physics ideas and mathematical laws are not claimed as exclusive property. Original practice is not represented as an official previous-year question.

Accuracy and availability

We work to correct errors and improve explanations. The material is for education only. The service does not guarantee a rank, admission or exam result, and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any examination authority, school or publisher; names of examinations and organisations belong to their owners and are used only to describe what the material covers. Check the official syllabus and examination instructions. Tell us about a suspected error using the page link and your reasoning. Material and features can change; if a paid service cannot be supplied, contact support for a remedy.

Account restrictions and closure

We may restrict, suspend or close an account for fraud, account sharing, payment abuse, serious misuse, breach of these terms or security needs, and provide a way to contact support. Membership ended for breach is not refunded unless the law requires it. You may export data or close your account in settings. Closing an account does not itself request a refund; resolve any payment or access issue with support before closure.

Warranties and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost opportunities, admissions, results or data, and our total liability for all claims about the service is limited to the amount you paid us for membership in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law. To the extent permitted by law, you will compensate us for claims and costs caused by your misuse of the service or breach of these terms.

Privacy, disputes and changes

The privacy notice explains data use and optional choices. Contact support first about a problem, so we can try to resolve it within 30 days. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes about them or the service, but these terms do not remove mandatory consumer protections or other legal rights, including any right to bring a claim where you live. If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. These terms and the policies they link to are the whole agreement about the service. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as outages at hosting, network or payment providers. We will identify material changes with an updated date and, where appropriate, an account notice. Revised terms do not silently shorten an already purchased membership.
